Richard S. Hutchinson

Mr. Hutchinson is President of Hutchinson Associates, LLC a manufacturers' sales agency he established in 2006 after completing over 30 years of corporate experience in consumer, industrial and broadband communications industries.

Most recently, he served as Director of Government Affairs for Allied Waste Industries, where he was responsible for $120 million of municipal sales across nine states. He was also responsible for the management of Allied Wastes municipal and state legislative and regulatory affairs.

Mr. Hutchinson prior to Allied Waste Industries served as Vice President of Public Affairs for Time Warner Cable of Southwest Ohio, where he was responsible for government, community and media affairs across 200 communities served by Time Warner Cable. He also managed Time Warner Cable’s local television production company which produced commercial advertising spots and Time Warner Television, a college sports channel serving over 640 thousand subscribers across Southwest Ohio.

Prior to Time Warner Cable, Mr. Hutchinson held senior cable system management positions at MediaOne, Inc. and Continental Cablevision Inc. and sales and marketing positions at the Consumer Products Division of International Paper Company of New York, NY and the Libbey Glass Division of Owen-Illinois, Toledo, Ohio.

Mr. Hutchinson holds a degree in Marketing and Economics from the University of Toledo.

He is a member of the Better Business Bureau, Toledo Chamber of Commerce, Advertising Club of Toledo, Manufactures Agents National Association, American Advertising Federation and the Public Relations Society of America.
